One year since Gaza genocide🇵🇸.A Reminder of Pain and Resilience
VERIFIED AND VETTED FUNDRISING APPEAL🍉🇵🇸
DONT SCROLL, YOU'LL NEVER KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO ASK FOR DONATIONS UNTIL ASKING FOR DONATIONS IS THE ONLY OPTION.
Stand with Palestine, Kindly Read Share and Donate
Hello, I am IFRAH MOHAMED 32year old woman living in Gaza tents, I have two children, and I hope you know the current situation very well in Gaza. I have lived with type 2 diabetes since my early childhood age, but I have been managing the condition.
My health has been a constant battle my blood pressure is still high, and I'm fighting a fever. Living with Type 1 Diabetes feels unbearable at times. I’m a disabled mom, unable to work since a life-altering accident that left me with a spinal cord injury. Now, I'm struggling even more. My blood sugar is dangerously high, and I’ve nearly run out of insulin, the very thing I need to survive. For two months, I’ve been without the medical care I desperately need.
I try to stay strong, but the weight of it all is overwhelming. I just want to get better, to heal, and to be here for my children. All I ask for is the chance to get the medical supplies and care I need so I can live, not just survive. It’s hard to ask for help, but I'm in a place where I can't do this alone. Please, help me fight for my life, so I can be there for the people who need me most
TARGET $ 156/$ 379
BALANCE $ 224
PLEASE HELP ME GET MY INSULIN(HUMALOG)INJECTION JUST FOR TODAY (DONATION LINK)
The effects of Genocide is still visible in every corner of this wounded place. You're our only hope, you can donate to me directly or share my Fundraiser so that I can manage to get my Insulin please 🍉

‏Please, this is important. We are drowning in Gaza🚨📣.
‏ On the 352nd day of the war on Gaza, with the approach of winter for the second time during the war. Today we went through the worst day of rain since dawn. It began to fall on us and flooded our tent, our food, our clothes, and even our bed. Sand and water became everywhere. Not only do we suffer from missiles, there are many things we suffer from that are a million times more difficult
‏So today I beg you, after we have lost. hope in the world, to help us and stand by us before the winter comes and we drown again. We want to buy a tent or nylon so that we can control the situation, and you know that in Gaza, one needs the minimum of $1,000. We are a family of 7 members, all of us over the age of 18. My mother is sick and has an infection in her chest, and my father is diabetic. Two days ago, my brother Hamdan suffered an injury to his hand and we lost a son. My uncle, about two weeks ago, in the recent massacre on the Rafah highways

Is It Fascism? A Leading Historian Changes His Mind.
Robert Paxton thought the label was overused. But now he’s alarmed by what he sees in global politics — including Trumpism.
Tumblr media
When the foremost historian on fascism, Robert Paxton, who has been reluctant in the past to apply that label to Trump, finally admits that Trump IS a fascist it's time to pay attention.
This is a gift🎁link so you can read the entire article. Below are some excerpts.
Jan. 6 proved to be a turning point. For an American historian of 20th-century Europe, it was hard not to see in the insurrection echoes of Mussolini’s Blackshirts, who marched on Rome in 1922 and took over the capital, or of the violent riot at the French Parliament in 1934 by veterans and far-right groups who sought to disrupt the swearing in of a new left-wing government. But the analogies were less important than what Paxton regarded as a transformation of Trumpism itself. “The turn to violence was so explicit and so overt and so intentional, that you had to change what you said about it,” Paxton told me. “It just seemed to me that a new language was necessary, because a new thing was happening.” When an editor at Newsweek reached out to Paxton, he decided to publicly declare a change of mind. In a column that appeared online on Jan. 11, 2021, Paxton wrote that the invasion of the Capitol “removes my objection to the fascist label.” Trump’s “open encouragement of civic violence to overturn an election crosses a red line,” he went on. “The label now seems not just acceptable but necessary.” [...] This summer I asked Paxton if, nearly four years later, he stood by his pronouncement. Cautious but forthright, he told me that he doesn’t believe using the word is politically helpful in any way, but he confirmed the diagnosis. “It’s bubbling up from below in very worrisome ways, and that’s very much like the original fascisms,” Paxton said. “It’s the real thing. It really is.” [emphasis added]
Remember, fascism typically involves a cult of personality. Hitler was wildly popular with ordinary Germans.
It's no coincidence that Trump is so obsessed with the numbers at his rallies.

Also it's fucked up to yell at members of marginalized communities for acting within the two party system and not burning it all down when you don't have a plan. People are not your fucking sacrificial lambs to skewer and roast on a stick

Trump: "You have to get out and vote. You won't have to do it anymore. Four years, it will be fixed, it will be fine. You won't have to vote anymore.. In four years, you won't have to vote again."
LIVE WEST PALM BEACH, FL
Can you believe he's just openly saying he's planning on becoming a dictator, never having to vote again? And these Christians are just eating it up. They're happy. They're insane.
America isn't perfect, but by God, the search for that perfection is dead under Donald Trump and these White Christian Nationalists nightmare theocratic dictatorship.
This is sickening.

🚨 The IOF conducted 3 massacres against displaced people in less than one hour:
The IOF targeted a group of citizens on Al-Attar Street near the Jordanian Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, resulting in several martyrs, including women and children.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that 13 martyrs have ascended and more than 26 people were injured in the massacre against the displaced.
At least four martyrs were transferred to the Indonesian Hospital after the occupation targeted a gathering at the Sheikh Zayed Roundabout in the northern Gaza Strip (media 1 and 2).
Six martyrs have ascended and 48 wounded have been reported after the IOF targeted an UNRWA school housing displaced people in the Nusseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip (media 3).

Honestly, we NEED to bring back assassinating presidents. I'm not even joking right now. I am being one HUNDRED percent serious with all of you. Our options, are FUCKED. Either our rights are TAKEN AWAY or OUR MONEY IS USED TO BOMB FAMILIES. WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO CHOOSE. WE CAN NOT KEEP DOING THIS. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO WORRY OBOUT WHETHER I'LL BE HATECRIMED AND NOTHING WILL BE DONE ABOUT IT OR ABOUT HOW LIVES ARE BEING RIPPED AWAY FROM PEOPLE. If the FBI can assassinate JFK and nothing's done about it, citizens should have that power. I am SO FUCKING ANGRY but I can't do SHIT about it because EITHER WAY I LOSE. If I had a gun and was around Biden or Trump I'd shoot him. No questions asked, no guilt either. I don't really know if staff will like this post that much so if my account gets nuked this post is probably why

I’ve seen an interesting argument pop up that Stien voters cost Harris the election. This isn’t true
Sadly, even if the stein voters had voted for Kamala she would have lost these swing states because the margins were too big. Whether you like it or not she lost due to a mix of a bad campaign, red pill ideology on the rise, racism’s and Trump being able (and willing) to leverage Kamala’s short comings in a way actually beneficial to him.
This isn’t a Green Party problem, this is a US problem, and y’all have to start acting like if you want to have a chance of winning in4 years and it starts by actually listening to what is coming out of peoples mouths and mobilizing NOW. Not just every 2 years but literally right now. Put pressure on dems to vote progressive, to actually codeify things when they have power, to deal with the racism and sexism that is on the rise and the causes behind it instead of just writing these people off.
Listen to minorities even ones who don’t agree with you and figure out where the dems are losing them, work to abolish the electoral college and NO MATTER WHAT don’t clock out just cuz ur candidate won. That’s how you lose the ones on the fence
But for now, kick your wounds, cry your tears, then reach out to people who mobilize and I don’t mean this in a ‘on I reblogged something that’s enough’ I’m so serious.
If you take ANYTHING from me, someone who has been watching these patterns play out all over the world for a while, it is that if you don’t put the pressure on their necks constantly they will not actually do anything. Because, and I know this won’t be nice to hear, but dems and republicans are the same in that they care about their OWN power and their OWN comfort. Not yours. So, if we can get them to understand their comfort will not come without ours, they will get off their asses and do something
Also free Palestine! Free Congo! Free Sudan! And free Tigray! Because America, at the end of the day, is a villain in so many peoples histories and present days.
And yall better be ready to march for as long as it takes until democracy isn’t threatened every couple of years (because that’s not normal)

My fav thing about TAZ is that any aspect out of context sounds fucking bonkers.
Like, in the balance finale there's a scene in which Garfield (who is very specifically never described visually bc most people imagine him as like. The Lasagna Cat. Who in this universe is the most powerful warlock in the realm and also has a hobby of cloning people, which is great for the one character that got forced into haunting a mannequin) is summoned by an alien spaceship that runs on the power of friendship so he could beat up some flashing balls. In D&D.
And that was just. Such a normal scene in the narrative. No one blinked an eye. I would like to bow down to Griffins clear unmatched talent for making me feel such big emotions over ridiculous shit like a goddamned umbrella or a regular ass pair of jeans or the idea of a taco recipe.
#taz balance#the adventure zone#taz#i have. so many drafts of this post decontexualizing so many different scenes.#merle killing a room of autism creature looking things by asking them to tell the truth which then summons god#also merle retiring from his retirement to run fantasy margaritaville under the title Earl Merle#magnus the mannequin telling taako and merle to find the baby voidfish bc the big voidfish sung at him real hard bc in the century he#just now remembered (bc hes a mannequin not a human boy)#he gifted an alien jellyfish with dozens of shitty wooden ducks. he forgot that century bc his friend fed the jellyfishs baby a book#the gnome version of Teddy Rucksbin turns out to be the universes most competent spaceship pilot. hes also a talented opera singer#a man named Barry Bluejeans is dead and uses his ghost haunting powers to gift the three heroes badges that they cant see#right before theyre shuttled off in a cannonball to save a space lab full of kitschy elevators thats snowing pink tourmaline#barry also uses his ghost powers to hold hands with magnus and make random shapes in midair like a dresser when theyre trapped in a#fantasy version of The Dating Game hosted by ghost Jesse and James Rocket who steal bodyparts if you lose their game.#or like in campaign how a dude who wiped out in the first three seconds of ninja warrior convinces a human wifi router#who owns a bible theme park to take the apparent King of America to the white house on their hovercraft to be trued for treason#after he announced his intent to take over the country in a televised debate with an inuit goddess who is sometimes trapped in the body#of an HR worker all Donald Blake/Thor style#anyways. this show is ridiculous and i love it So Much

Just for the record, there's a big post going around claiming that 20 million votes weren't counted in the election, and that has been debunked multiple times, and had zero evidence or sources to begin with other than someone on twitter claiming it out of thin air.
Kamala Harris has already publicly conceded her run.
Joe Biden just gave his own speech today at the White House, announcing that Trump won the election.
"Denying the results of the election (blue version, so it's Good This TIme)" is not something that is going to help anyone, least of all the people who are getting their hopes up that things can change, only to sink to even deeper despair come January when the handover happens.
Trump won. This is not something that can be magically "fixed" by "finding 20 million votes".
Trump won, and we need to accept, and absorb that reality to move forward.
You should have been preparing for this possibility as soon as Trump announced he was running again.
He had a 50-50 chance of becoming President, and now we are indeed in this "worst timeline" of a second Trump Presidency.
You need to stop denying this fact, work on accepting it, and make your plans to build a support network before things hit the fan.
Do not wait for January 6th, 2025 to accept the fact that Trump won the election.
Do not spend the next two months in denial.
If you think the world is going to go up in literal hellfire or nuclear apocalypse if Trump becomes President, then start prepping for that scenario now if you genuinely believe it:
Learn to grow your own food.
Learn to forage wild food safely.
Learn to live off the grid.
Learn to collect your own water.
Learn first aid.
Get a firearm license and learn how to use it properly.
If you truly believe the world is going to end and the apocalypse is gonna happen to America, then act like it and prep for it.
Otherwise, stop spreading fearmongering, stop doom posting, remember that America did not dissolve into a fallout-style lawless wasteland the last time Trump was President, take a deep breath, and start telling yourself the world is not going to end.
Join local neighborhood Facebook groups and start engaging with your neighbors and local community.
Start making friends and connections at the local level.
Join local political initiatives.
Join or start a community garden.
Don't trap yourself in denial, hoping the some miracle will happen and magically make it so Harris actually won the election.
The world is not going to end.
Do something that gets you out there and actively building a better future, one small step at a time.
